Accessibility statement
This statement covers the DockNest website at trydocknest.com. It does not cover the DockNest application, which has its own documentation.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We have not had an independent audit, so we do not claim full conformance.
What we have checked
- Text and controls meet the AA contrast ratios. We calculated them from the site’s color values.
- Every link, button, tab and question can be reached and used with a keyboard, and the focused item always shows an outline.
- A “Skip to content” link is the first thing a keyboard user reaches.
- Each page has one main heading, sections in order, and labeled navigation.
- Photographs that carry meaning have a text description. Decorative photographs are hidden from screen readers.
- The diagram of servers, sites and storage has a text alternative, and on small screens it becomes a plain list.
- Motion stops when your device is set to reduce motion. Nothing flashes.
- The site works without JavaScript: all install commands are shown at once, and on small screens every section is reached by scrolling.
- Buttons, tabs and menu links are at least 44 by 44 pixels.
Known limitations
- We have tested in Chromium-based browsers only. Safari, Firefox and screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) have not been tested yet.
- The site is in English only.
- Install commands are long single lines. On narrow screens they scroll sideways inside their box.
